| Everyday Evangelizing |
All of us are called to evangelize and this can be done in simple ways in our everyday lives. A suggestion for this week:
As we approach the mid-point of this Lenten season,
we are reminded in today's Gospel of the need for healing the damage caused by our sinfulness. Take a copy of The Compass and find a form of devotion (Stations of the Cross), a special Mass, a Lenten reflection, or even a service opportunity that you can participate in, so that you "may bear fruit in the future".

Support World's Poor Next Sunday!
2010 World’s Poor Collection
Next Sunday there will be a special collection after Communion for the World’s Poor. The two causes represented are for Catholic Relief Services and Peter’s Pence. The Campaign for Human Development collection will be suspended for this year in order to provide additional funding for the relief efforts in Haiti through Catholic Relief Services. Peter’s Pence contributions are given directly to the Holy Father to dioceses that are suffering from immediate emergencies as a result of natural disasters, war and oppression. Undesignated funds will be divided 1/3 Peter’s Pence and 2/3 Catholic Relief Services.
Please be generous, your support will make
a difference in the lives of so many.

Sharing Our Faith Around the WorldWorking with parishes and communities, our deacons are Sharing Their Faith everyday! Through their time and talent they are able to assist with the needs of our parishes to bring Christ into our day-to-day world. Individuals who are called to serve in the diaconate commit themselves to a five-year formation program. This program supports and challenges them on their way to becoming ordained servants of God. The Bishop's Appeal assists with their journey by providing continued education and support needed for their ongoing ministry. "Without the Bishop's Appeal, it would be difficult to have a quality formation process or to provide the support services needed for the diaconate program," said Deacon Paul Grimm, Director of the Diaconate Program. Through the diaconate, the Church is able to reach out and serve the needs of all persons who come to live and worship in the Diocese of Green Bay. For more information on how to support the diaconate program by giving a gift to the Bishop's Appeal, please contact our St. Agnes Parish Office, or visit the Bishop's Appeal web site www.CatholicFoundationgb.org or call Debbie at 272-8184.

Eucharistic Ministers to the Homebound Eucharistic Ministers are needed! The number of people in our parish community who can no longer participate at a weekend Mass with us continues to grow. As a result we are in real need of additional volunteers who would be willing to bring Communion to these parishioners on a regular basis. This is a wonderful way to share yourself as well as brighten someone's day. It can be done as a couple, a family or as an individual. If you are interested or just want more information, please call Deacon Jim Gauthier at 494-2534.
