St. Agnes Neighborhood Outreach Ministry
Love Your NeighborLove Life Ministry is an ecumenical outreach that serves low-income families with small children in the greater Green Bay area. We are in great need of used baby cribs in good condition. Slats should be no more than 2-3/8 inches apart. Crib mattresses, bassinets, and toddler beds are also needed. Please call 497-1087 to donate. We can pick up your item(s).
Help for the HomelessCollection boxes for the Help for the Homeless will be in our Church during the month of March. Several items are being requested. Personal products: shampoo/conditioner; deodorant, tooth brush/paste, band-aids, body/hand lotion, safety razors, feminine hygiene products, OTC medications, wet wipes, body soap. Baby products: diapers, infants/children's medications. Household products: household cleaners, laundry detergent, paper towels, facial tissue, toilet paper, sheet sets/pillows, towels/wash cloths. These items will be distributed to several homeless shelters in Green Bay. Please be as generous as your circumstances allow. Thank YOU for your generosity.
Some Needs at Marion HouseAt this time, Marion House is looking for women to consider being Mentors to young mothers. Mentors at Marion House are what makes this program successful. The residents form close bonds to their mentors and receive the spiritual and maternal guidance they need. There is always a need too for specific items which include: newborn diapers, unscented baby wipes, baby bottles, toilet bowl cleaner, Good Start Supreme Formula with Iron, 8 & 13 gallon trash bags, and batteries - all sizes, especially C & D (for baby swings and toys). Feel free to contact us at 496-1478. Items can be placed in Lobas Lounge to be delivered - please write Marion House on all donations.
Those Envelopes are Bright!Bright yellow envelopes are placed at the entrances to church. These envelopes are intended to be bright so that the color will “grab” attention. Monies donated through these envelopes help support the ministry of the St. Agnes Parish Neighborhood Outreach Project. The Outreach project was started to assist our brothers and sisters in Christ who suffer the indignity of poverty and homelessness. Please be as generous as your circumstances allow when choosing to donate through these envelopes. THANK YOU for your generosity.
