Faith Alive Progress

Faith Alive School System Initiative Progress: In order to strengthen the quality of Catholic school education for our children now and into the future, we are proceeding with legal incorporation of the system and the search for a system leader. Members of the Faith Alive Schools Steering Committee have been meeting with pastors, parish leaders and principals personally to brief them on the details of this project. Catholic school parents have already been notified in writing as to these necessary actions being taken. Meetings with parents and parishioners will follow, in April and May. As for the 2008-09 school year, very little, if any change should be evident to parents, students and staff at the eleven Green Bay area Catholic schools as a result of the formation of the school system. As the transition to the school system develops in the years ahead, thoughtful, gradual changes will be made, culminating in a complete school system in 2012-13. For more information on the Faith Alive Schools project, go to www.gbdioc.org or e-mail your questions to faithalive@gbdioc.org.

Join Us at Mass

We welcome visitors and friends at Holy Family School. Please join us for the festivities during Catholic Schools Week. Come pray with our students during Tuesday or Thursday Mass at 8:45am at St. Agnes Church. We look forward to seeing you.

With the support of technology grant money and parent donations, we are beginning our next advancement in technology at Holy Family School. Over Christmas break we began installing LCD projectors and screens in the middle school classrooms and science lab. These projectors will be able to display computer programs, cable television programs, DVD’s and VCR tapes. As future grant money or donations become available we will install more projectors in other classrooms. If you are interested in assisting with other classroom advancements, please contact the school office at 494-1931. Thank you.
